ARTIST & PRODUCER / Same House Records
XnoteOrious
Echefu Meso Ugochukwu, known as XnoteOrious, is a Nigerian artist and producer from Mbaitoli, Imo State, whose music is shaped by curiosity, experience and an instinct to turn real life into something people can feel.
A graduate of the University of Nigeria, where he studied Medical Radiography, XnoteOrious comes from a world that might seem far removed from music. But music has always been another way for him to observe people, process experiences and understand the things that don't always have straightforward answers.
His artistry is rooted in the everyday, love, ambition, relationships, uncertainty, struggle, growth and the moments that quietly change how we see ourselves. Rather than trying to have everything figured out, XnoteOrious uses music to explore the questions, emotions and experiences that come with becoming who you are.
His sound moves between Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Soul and electronic music, with each record giving him room to explore a different feeling or perspective. As a producer, he enjoys building the atmosphere around an idea; as an artist, he puts himself inside that world and tells the story from there.
